• turn down the radio,
• follow the speed limit,
• and take frequent breaks from driving,

there still lies the risk that we cause an accident or become its victims. Let alone that not all the highways comprise modernized and unified digital traffic signs and traffic announcements.

Only that driver's eyesight experiences the toughest strain out of all driver's senses during the daylight and far more with the nightfall, when the whole world turns into neon-light 'Las Vegas' and lots of signs, even the present-day flashlights, become blurried.

  This suggests the need for gradual intensity and diversification of illuminators, both ahead of and in the risky area, including downlight street lamps.
