1. Vegetables such as Pumpkin, ridge guard, round guard and bottle guard are good in such cases. So they must be cooked frequently.
2. Green grass juice is beneficial for keeping bowel movements healthy enough. So drink one glass of green grass juice, daily.
3. Include Green grams (Moong daal) in your daily diet or you can make moong daal khichdi.
4. Drink herbal tea daily once, made from cumin, coriander, thyme, and fennel.
5. Include soluble fibers in your diet like vegetables and fruits.
6. Prefer low-fat dairy products.
7. Psyllium husk (Isabgol) is very good to regularize bowel and improve digestion.
What to avoid or limit?
Try to limit the intake of dairy products. Include a diet that contains low fats. If you notice some foods are causing your symptoms to flare then try to avoid such foods. Avoid spicy foods.
Drink plenty of water or other liquids. Instead of taking large meals three times, try to have frequent smaller meals.
Stress management-
Stress has a direct influence on IBD. So, it should be well managed. You can go for a walk in the morning or evening. You can do some exercise. You can do yoga and meditation.
With these natural remedies for inflammatory bowel diseases (herbs, balanced diet, and stress management only), you can manage your disorder very well.
