Versatile Soft Look
Soft grunge outfits are some of the most popular choices for girls who want to try out the genre. I personally love them more because I can enjoy the bright colors such as pink and purple. You can incorporate your personal style with the grunge aesthetic to make the looks yours. This is more to blend with mainstream fashion for a lighter look with the dark elements. This is the most versatile version in my opinion but will still include those ripped jeans if that is your liking.
The ’90s were wild
The 90’s grunge is an effortlessly edgy look, which was one of the most popular at that time. This look featured dark hues, ripped jeans, loose tops, and shirts. If you are a girl that loves rocking converse sneakers and those crazy combat boots. Chokers were also big that time and in recent years we have seen them make a comeback. If you were ever thinking of trying one, now may be your time.
The 80s
Although this style was most popular in the 1990s it started out in the 80s. If you are really into the whole history of fashion you may want to visit the 80s look as well. This was the time women were wearing high-waisted shorts and mom jeans, with their thick leather jackets. So they were pretty groovy in a darker way if you asked me. The look also made a lot of crossovers during that time with punk.
Black Nails
Getting black nail ideas from various sources online can really help bring that part out. Nails are a big part of our final look. The nail of our choice is the small part that pulls our look together and makes it whole. You can choose colors that match your outfit or just go unmatched. Before everyone would try to match their nails but that is not the most important now.
Another way you can get inspired for your nails is to look in the Halloween post. You can get some designs with skulls on them and that makes a dark hue for your design. A lot of the hard grunge will love this but if you are into more soft grunge go for purple spider web nails.
To make your nails even edgier the dark red is another popular color choice to make the genre complete. Red looks good with this fashion style so maybe even if your outfit has no red on it you can show off those red claw nails. Red and black nails are a pretty choice for you to embrace the style.

We can't have a full look without shoes right! Choosing the right shoes to compliment your style. If you are a girl who loves heels this change may seem more dramatic to you. The main shoes include chunky shoes and canvas sneakers. I am sure there are plenty of others you can incorporate as well. These two however are the most effortless look. Vans sneakers look good with ripped jeans and a skirt with fishnet. If you are thinking that you want shoes with height, the chunky platform shoes look great. These also look good with the school girl grunge outfit.
