WoW Forever Gold Timeline: How to Plan the Five Weeks Before Raids

WoW Forever Gold

WoW Forever launches on November 4. However, its first raids stay closed until December 9. That gap lasts five weeks, and the need for gold changes a lot during it. A clear plan keeps the player from wasting coin too early. Gold planning matters more than most players expect in the first weeks. Some players shorten the farming and buy WoW Forever gold. On the other hand, others grind every coin by hand. Let us dig deeper and lay out a week-by-week plan from launch day to the first raid night.

Why the Five-Week Gap Matters

Blizzard announced three simultaneous raids that will be launched on December 9. Barrow Deeps takes 10 players, Hyjal Summit takes 20, and Onyxia's Lair takes 40. They are all level 60 characters, meaning that players will have to take time to hit the cap after launch. The Lair of Onyxia is attuned by the Drakefire Amulet questline.

That timeline divides the early economy into two distinct periods for most players. At the beginning, the majority of the gold is spent on leveling expenses and simple equipment. Towards the end of the month, the demand changes to consumables, gear, and raid preparation.

The pattern of past Classic launches was usually the same in the weeks preceding a raid. Prices of materials and consumables are likely to increase prior to a raid, reach their peak during the launch, and stabilize. No one can guarantee the same curve here, but it is a good guide.

Weeks One and Two: Keep Spending Low

The initial two weeks are leveling, and gold does not stay long in the bag. Class training, bags, early gear, and repairs all have their share. Precise prices were not verified prior to launch. Thus, the player ought to verify prices in-game.

Quest rewards and drops are the main source of income. That counts each sale of the vendor and each herb collected. A leveling player can sell the surplus materials instead of depositing them in the bank.

Taaren possess a slight advantage in this, courtesy of one convenient racial power. Their Cultivation racial works differently in WoW Forever than in Classic. It has become an active skill that copies a nearby herb with a 15-minute cooldown. Every herb can be replicated only once. This way, the bonus remains small. It will not become a fortune. However, it will contribute a bit of stable income to the initial levels.

Since WoW Forever does not have realms, players choose a ruleset, including Normal, PvP, or RP. It is still unclear if the auction house is shared between rulesets. Early price checks are more important since smaller markets can swing more at the beginning.

Weeks Three and Four: Mounts and Attunement

Most players ought to be near level 60 by the midpoint of the plan. There are no flying mounts in Forever, and the primary mode of transportation is a ground mount. One of the biggest initial expenses is a mount, and saving should start early.

The same stretch is the right time to start the Onyxia attunement. All raid members must have the Drakefire Amulet in their inventory to enter. Blizzard states that Alliance players start in the Burning Steppes, and Horde players start in the Badlands.

Occupations also warrant a revisit during this era. There was little official information prior to launch. Therefore, early market information is valuable. A player observing the prices of the auction now will see cheap materials before the rush of the raid.

Week Five: Raid Preparation

The spending returns in the last week before December 9. The primary recurring expenses of raiders are consumables, repairs, and respecs. The three raids are weekly reset, meaning that demand recurs rather than terminates upon clear. Early planners also escape the price spike that usually occurs just before a raid opens.

In WoW Forever, GDKP runs have also been prohibited by Blizzard, which was announced in September. Bidding systems cannot be relied upon to finance the gear of raiders. Blizzard claims that it will keep an eye on the economy to understand why players desired that additional gold. That adds additional pressure to the personal budget constructed in the preceding weeks.

A Simple Plan to Follow

The plan comes down to three simple habits that fit any schedule. The player spends little in the first two weeks and gathers everything useful. In the next two weeks, the focus shifts to the mount and the attunement. In the final week, the saved gold goes into consumables and repairs.

None of this needs ideal timing or a huge initial budget. A brief written note on anticipated expenses helps keep small purchases in check. A player who begins the budget on the launch day will still be prepared when the doors open. Since Blizzard has not released all the prices, the plan must remain flexible and change when actual numbers emerge.

Raid night rewards preparation much more than it rewards luck or last-minute shopping. Gold might not be able to win a boss fight. However, being out of it before the pull can definitely lose one.
