It is a specialized subject which is concerned with composition, structure, behaviour and properties of matter as well as the changes it goes through chemical reactions. Studying chemistry enables one to assess chemical composition as well as the structure of the material samples. It assists in getting a better understanding about various physical concepts like quantum mechanics and thermodynamics.
Students choosing science can either opt for engineering or medicine.
