How to Keep your Eyes Healthy

Many of us make an effort to keep our health in good condition through our lifestyle habits such as eating nutritious and healthy food, exercising and being active, and regularly visiting the doctor. Consume a Balanced Diet

Further, green vegetables, citrus fruits, eggs, and salmon are also extremely good for your eyes.

Use Sunglasses and Appropriate Eyewear

Take Screen Breaks and take necessary precautions

In today’s digital-driven world, our eyes are constantly fixated on a screen, whether it be our laptop, or phone/tablet, or a digital advertising billboard. This could take a large toll on your eyes causing illnesses such as dry eyes, blurry vision, severe headaches, eyestrain, etc. Therefore, it is important to take a break every 20-30 minutes. Further, remember to blink, make sure your screens are not too bright, when working makes sure your laptops are at eye level, and most importantly, make sure your glasses and/or contact lenses are up-to-date.

Get Regular Eye Screenings

You should definitely consider getting regular eye screenings done. This helps you to monitor the health of your eyes and catch any illnesses that could be a threat early on and get the necessary treatments. Throw Away Old Makeup

This one is especially for ladies or anyone who uses makeup. Bacteria grow rapidly in liquid makeup therefore it is really important that your products are renewed at least every 3 months in order to avoid developing any harmful infections. Further, always remember to clean your face after and before you use makeup.

Remember, changes to the condition of your eyes do not happen overnight.
