  • Are You Happy? Balanced? Both? Or Neither?
    This is not a one size fits all world. I find great "happiness" in creating cartoons, shoes, merchandise, etc that people like. That has more to do with the work I do and though that work, alone, I know, is not going to "create happiness", the actions involved in that work remind me that I am here providing a service, whether I am "feeling happy" or not, that is going to make someone else feel happy.

  • Ever Thought About Being An Inventor? You Probably Already Are One
    One day, someone put them all together, added a slice of "cheese product" and presto, this employee of McDonald's got a raise. He had "invented" the Egg McMuffin. It even had a cute name. At the time, Ed McMahon was the co-host of the tonight show and this made the name of it both clever and even easier to remember.

  • Tired Old Cartoonists? Where Do We Hide Them?
    I am now turning fifty-six. My mind still feels twenty one and that's a good thing in the world of cartooning; especially given that the majority of very good cartoons on the market are done by talented people in their twenties and thirties. Many are retired by my age. But Generation Two has just begun and I am loving it. It is like brain calisthenics.

  • Twitter Is Just Not Working....Or Is It?
    Lee and I have met some of the craziest of the crazed; some of whom have hired us to do tasks which have taken days, weeks, or months, on a volunteered basis, then "fired us". LOL. Of that we have gotten the biggest laugh. We have met faux dojo mystical martial arts leaders who form "charities" that don't give reporting and have a locked Twitter account. Really instill confidence in giving much less respecting. LOL.
