The success of a selected number of younger contemporary artists has put Indian Contemporary art on the international art map. Even though investments in art have been what one may call ‘most beneficial’, art today remains a market understood by very few let alone the valuation of art. Understandable then the penetration of Art Insurance being low in the country.
