    Harden Server Configuration to remove Vulnerabilities "PCI DSS Version 2.0 Requirement 2: Do not use vendor-supplied defaults for system passwords and other security parameters" From the moment a server is powered up it becomes vulnerable to attack. Assuming that leaving your key application servers turned off is not an option it will be necessary to implement security measures advocated by the PCI DSS.
