It is possible to select lawn care service providers through the tender system. We venture to examine how this (selection of lawn service providers throug the tender system) can be done. We will also be looking at the advantages of selecting the lawn service providers in that way, as well as the disadvantages of selecting the service providers in this particular way. We will finally look at the types of organizations likely to benefit from tender-based selection of lawn service providers.

There are several reasons as to why some people opt to engage landscaping firms to take care of their domestic lawns. That is against a background where such folks could just as well take care of yards during their leisure time – for instance, during the weekends, before going to work or after coming back home from work. Such folks could, alternatively, just as well opt to work with the freelance landscapers who are found in virtually all residential estates.

Lawn care firms provide what is, by all accounts, a luxury service. They help people establish lawns, and take care of such lawns on a day to day basis. This is a ‘luxury service’ thanks to the fact that people can be just fine without lawns. Few people would try to front an argument to the effect that the service provided by lawn care firms is an ‘essential service.’
