There are people that do not even know what Gaelic Games are; they are the traditional sports that are played in Ireland. The two main Gaelic Sports are Hurling and Gaelic football, both of which games are organized by the Gaelic Athletic Association. There are other games that used which are rounders and Gaelic handball.

There are many bed and breakfast in Rosslare but Archways B&B Rosslare is something different as it is a home from home experience. Not to mention that County Wexford in the South East of Ireland offers the ideal base for exploring the beautiful Irish coastline, as well as the countryside. Sea going activities in the area include wonderful fishing on the eastern coast from Gorey all the way round to the New Ross on the Southern coast.

The Old Vicarage is a beautiful Ambleside Guest House conveniently located in Ambleside which is where the Langdale Mountain Rescue Team are also based. This gives the residents that are keen walkers a reassuring piece of mind when they venture out onto the mountains and fells of the Lake District. The service has been in action for many years, even decades. Records date back to 1930 from when people were interviewed about walkers disappearing into the hills and never returning.

The Worsley Arms Hotel is located in the picturesque and beautiful village of Hovingham; this is located perfectly for the surrounding villages and towns of Pickering, Helmsley, Stokesley, Malton and Thirsk. Like many North York Moors Hotels the Worsley Arms Hotel is nestled in the scenic National Park which attracts tourists in their droves year after year.

Lindeth Fell Country House Hotel is home to some beautiful, tranquil and artistically designed gardens. There are many Bowness Hotels but few that can boast gardens that were designed by the late Thomas Mawson. His work was not particularly well known but he was an incredibly influential designer of gardens. He was born in May 1861 in Scorton near Lancaster and due to poverty he had to leave school aged 12 and work for his unlce who was a builder.

The Brooklands motor racing circuit and aerodrome was opened in 1907. It made history as it was the first ever purpose built motor race circuit that was banked in the world. In Britain motorists were restricted to a 20mph speed limit and Brooklands was so popular due to the high speeds that could be reached.
