Biography
H. Mikael Nisula has been living with the anxiety disorder since he was 27 years old in 1994. Beginning with uncontrollable panic attacks, he has watched his disorder evolve into living a life of generalized anxiety. During his 17 year journey into anxiety's abyss, the author has also experienced many of anxiety's associated repercussions - including various degrees of depression and bouts of insomnia. Now for the first time, he is using his unique personal experiences to help fellow sufferers better understand anxiety, its associated disorders, and how to better cope with and minimize anxiety symptoms.
Outside of this project, Nisula is a peaceful, nature-loving man. He loves spending times outdoors, playing with his cats, and vegetable gardening. He is also an avid Washington D.C. sports fan. He rarely misses watching a Capitals or Redskins game on TV, and frequently watches Nationals and Wizards games.
