Those animals receiving DHA had a breeding success equal to normal mice, and showed normal sperm count and formation, as opposed to those that did not receive DHA. A study conducted at the German Institute of Human Nutrition has found that increasing chocolate intake by 6 grams a day ( about 1.5 ounces per week) would reduce the occurrence of heart attacks by 85 fewer per 10,000 people during the course of a decade. Findings suggest that eating a small amount of chocolate daily may help the heart and lower blood pressure. Nutrition researchers published their findings on almost 20,000 adults between 35 and 65 in the European Heart Journal.

I admit, I am happy to see the weekend roll around, but it comes and goes too quickly, so I've focused on enjoying each day. Deepak Chopra, MD, perhaps, the most well known holistic medical physician of our time of holistic medicine gave a keynote talk, that permanently altered my life and in particular, my awareness of “aging.” He described a fascinating study that occurred in 1979.
