As we age our vision changes either from the normal aging process or age-related eye diseases. While some changes such as tearing, floaters and the need for reading glasses to see fine print maybe little more than inconveniences more serious age-related eye problems can develop. Eye diseases and age related problems undetected and untreated could result in irreversible vision loss and even blindness.

On a typical commercial jet, on any typical flight, there are some thin people and some heavier people. Some are traveling just for the day and are only taking along hand luggage and some are traveling for weeks with a number of large suitcases. Airlines and the Federal Aviation Administration have done studies to determine the average weight of a passenger and their associated luggage. Over time, these averages have been adjusted to take into account that people may be slightly heavier than they were a generation ago. Based on the statistical average, safety margins have been calculated to account for deviations from the average. A flight crew can then determine how much additional cargo they can carry, and how much fuel will be needed to safely reach their destination.

Barack Obama launched Change.gov on Nov 6 for the transition to the new administration on January 20, 2009. From what I have seen so far, it looks like the new administration is going to utilize the internet a lot more., I hope they can get rid of the person currently in-charge of regulating the internet,. This person, Alaska Senator Ted Stevens who is now a convicted felon, thinks the internet is a series of “tubes”. If re-elected, which it looks like will happen, he will be the first felon elected to the United States Senate.

Very slight changes in the color itself, or in the brightness or saturation of a color can be seen. As of this morning in his Weekly Address, President-elect, Barak Obama called for bold steps in the rebuilding process to restore our economy and the American workforce at large. President-elect Obama states that the United States faces "an economic crisis of historic proportions," and more must be done to put people back to work. "I have already directed my economic team to come up with an economic recovery plan that will mean 2.5-million more jobs by January, 2011, a plan big enough to meet the challenges we face, that I intend to sign soon after taking office," he said. He also admits that there are no straightforward, easy or quick solutions to the economic problem and it is very likely to get much worse before it gets better. Bold solutions to the economic disaster are not only being fought on the political front but also on the business front. Even though our economy is in the dumps, it still stimulates growing businesses.
