The best of Google is now in the form of hardware and software. Pixel- The first phone made by Google is out. The name Pixel might sound familiar as Google has used this name in the past for consumer hardware products. It’s indeed a very exciting phase for Google as it has launched its first phone ever. Many must also be familiar with the nexus program of Google. What‘s in Pixel by Google-

The phone has carefully sculpted surfaces of the phone to make them round and not too edgy for a convenient grip. The Gorilla glass used is 2.5 D-Corning one for the front display and for the back glass to accent the aerospace grade aluminum body.  Pixel imprint, fingerprint sensor will be found at the back of the phone too. You can simply swipe it to be able to see notifications. And most importantly it has a robust battery that will last up to seven hours and more.

A Google assistant at the tip of your fingers-

Pixel is a one-of-a-kind phone that has a built-in Google assistant. An exciting feature that allows you to have a conversation with Google to find answers or to also get certain tasks done!  Simply touch and hold the Home button and you are all set with your new Google assistant. With this new assistant, you can now ask for a brief update on your entire daily schedule or even ask it to play a video on YouTube. You can also look up for the nearest pharmacy or look for traffic situation o your way back from office. What more you can also find the photos you are looking for just by asking the assistant for a search. 

The camera that rocks-

It has a camera that no other smartphone has ever had. With computational photography at its best and an ultra-fast, easy-to-use camera, Pixel has 12.3MP camera, featuring a f/2.0 aperture and big 1.55 micron pixels that enables it to capture loads of light. It has catch action shots as it happens with Smartbust, that allows it to take rapid-fire sequence shots and it on its own selects the best one.

Pixel has two sizes that you can use it in- 5” or 5.5” and it also comes in 3 colors- Quite black, Very Silver and Really blue that is a limited edition for U.S only. They also offer cases to match with the phone. New designs are introduced specially designed by Justin Maller and photographers such as Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield.  There’s also much awaited new collection of Silicone and clear cases.  You can pre-order Pixel today and the process starts at 69 in the U.S, Germany, and Australia. In India, the pre-orders will begin on 13th October. Pixel in the US is being teamed up exclusively with Verizon retail outlets, including the best buy stores. All the ProjectFi fans can rejoice as Pixel is the latest device to work o the Fi network.
