The holidays always bring wonderous food and unique cocktails with their celebrations. Who does not love the food that comes with the holidays? You don’t have to agonize about getting into your bathing suit for another half a year, so enjoy.

As far as entertainment, you can’t top the holiday variety. There always seems to be something to watch, including parades, sports and gigs. In addition, each holiday brings its own flavor of entertainment to select from.

While you are mingling, you can be assured that your money is going back into helping the station. Last year’s gig included none other than Mr. Henry Rollins DJing and dressed as his Superman self from circa 1991. This was a spectacle for sore eyes, to say the least.

Now if you favor a more family oriented gathering, then you are the Thanksgiving kind of fan. However, the awful things that always go with Thanksgiving are games. You can rest assured that Uncle Bill and Cousin Tony will be waiting on the couch to be served their dessert. Try something different this year and set up the TV outside with some portable bleachers and see if everyone can be satisfied in one place. Be sure you have fair weather before you give this a try.

You could hold on to those bleachers and bring them out again for Christmas. This is a great choice if you have a little house and great weather for Christmas. The kids will have the freedom to play around and the men will feel at home in the grandstands; in fact, you may have made everyone happy.

They save the most excellent holiday for the finale: New Year’s Eve. The coolest event of the whole year is on this day. New Year’s Night is the best time for contemplation, but also the best time to party. Who doesn’t hope to be in New York on this night? You can rent a bench in the bleachers or stand around dancing while everyone waits for the big ball to drop.

Have a fun and safe holiday and be sure you plan ahead with everything. Get your bleachers or food orders in ahead of the rush to ensure all will go right. This will enable you to have a more pleasant time with your family and friends this year.
