In your box you should have 20 individually wrapped plasters, these must also be sterile and it is best to have them in assorted sizes. It would also be useful to carry hypoallergenic plasters just in case you have anyone who is allergic to the normal type.
You may also need 4 individually wrapped, sterile triangular bandages, sterile eye pads, safety pins and un-medicated wound dressings in various sizes. These dressings should also be sterile and individually wrapped. Don’t forget a pair of disposable gloves.
You should always keep your first aid kit well stocked and replace any used items or any items that have passed their use by dates.
