The very fact that they are deprived of love and care develops hatred towards the world in them. This is the most serious threat to any society anywhere in the world. Hence, stern efforts should be taken by everyone to curb this and only orphanages can do that.

Orphanages give shelter to such children and also provide education to them along with love and protection. India’s first Prime Minister once said “The future of India depends on the class rooms”. Chances are very slim for an orphan to go to school. However, orphanages strive to achieve this to a greater extent. As orphanages thrive only on charity they have a great hardship to feed, shelter and educate the children. On the other hand there are people, organizations and individuals who have the ability to fund but are not aware of this.
Anyone who volunteers in orphanages should reach to the well off people and bridge them with the orphanages. They can even do a step ahead by explaining the importance to provide assistance to orphans. There are several NGOs operating all over the world and these volunteers can gain sponsorship to the children. With the advent of social media’s they can make things resonate all over the world. Hence to volunteer in orphanage takes just very little of our time, but the goodness it does is a lot.
