They do have the great advantage of taking away the need to transfer wash loads into a separate dryer.
For those of you who are considering purchasing one, I highly recommend you get one with large load capacity. Nothing is worse than purchasing a dryer to automate your clothes drying and then finding out you have to do multiple loads. Another thing you may want to look at, is built in ironing programs. The automatic ironing programs that some modern dryers have, are going to decrease your ironing time.
A good dryer machine doesn't require you to break the bank. There are plenty of dryers available that will cost no more than three hundred. There are cheaper ones available as well, but these are compact dryers. Compact dryers can't take big loads, so they will require you to do multiple loads. The smallest and lowed priced machines, are the compact ones. They are mostly useful to people that live small and alone.
