Phoenix is the state capital of Arizona and the states largest city. The city features perfect weather almost year round and it has some of the top golf courses in the world. However, there is also a number of cultural attractions that can interest tourists. They have the Heard Museum which is known around the world for a complex and complete look at the Native American history.
There is also the Orpheum Theater and Dodge where you can watch a ballet dance or see a Broadway show. In winter tourists often come to Phoenix to get away from the colder climates back where they live. There isn’t much to see in Phoenix since it does lack in culture and history displays. However, it makes up for this lack in an abundance of things to do. The Heard Museum is about the only cultural exhibit in the city.
The city is home to many historic resorts such as the Arizona Biltmore, Camelback Inn and Royal Palms. Most of these historic resorts are in Phoenix and the nearby suburb Paradise Valley and they help make Phoenix one of the more popular vacation destinations. On the other hand, business travelers may prefer staying at a Phoenix airport hotel.
Since most of the resorts in Phoenix are large first class resorts they often compete for business of the tourists to stay in business. Therefore, many of them try to gain families and leisure tourists by offering as many amenities as possible which comes out as a benefit for you the customer. The Valley of the Sun has a large water feature that is complete with rivers, waterfalls, lakes, slides, pools and canals that looks more like a jungle setting rather than a standard hotel pool.

During the week these hotels try to attract the business traveler but then on the weekends focus their attention on the leisure traveler out to have some fun in the sun in Phoenix. You can also go to the northwest for a true Western experience by staying at a guest ranch.
Between January and March Phoenix fills their hotels so you should make advanced hotel reservations as early as possible. The rest of the year is considered summer season and the hotels in Phoenix have very few guests. With a large selection you just have to make a decision between a luxurious resort, a guest ranch or an airport hotel.
