There was a long period in my life when I wasn’t too concerned with my personal brand—that’s probably because I was a little lost. By the time I was twenty-four, in addition to having failed at numerous intimate relationships, and being overweight and depressed, I’d also failed in ten business ventures.
Discovering my Personal Growth path also helped me get a handle on how I wanted to present myself professionally to the world. In other words, I discovered the power of both Personal Growth and my personal brand.
Let’s face it: in this Internet age, our lives are an open book, so I think it’s important to take control of what we want people to see, read, know, and understand about us. Manny Goldman is living proof that anyone can turn their life around.
Why?
Because he has succeeded after being arrested 6 times, dropping out of college, failing in several personal relationships, being obese, having over $100,000 in debt, and even attempting suicide a few times.
He knows the pain of having no direction, no power, and little to no solid foundation to live a fulfilled life. Manny had to begin again after traumatic failures like when the Attorney General shut his business down. Sounds pretty horrific and his personal story will probably make you feel your life is pretty good.
