If I told you that it took me almost ten years to finish my book you’d probably ask me why it took me so long. Good question; well to answer your question, to me writing is not about how many books you can churn out in a year, it’s about the quality of a book and how it relates to your audience, i.e. have they been through similar experiences etc, and I only write when I’ve got something to say.
Being a fiction writer, some may argue how can you make humour out of factual situations; well, to answer your question, we need humour to realize how to cheer each other up and also this helps when showing your character. Precisely, its there to one scare the hell out of you, but ironically also to give you humour in the sense that you might turn around to your brother or sister or friend and laugh and say to them that that F….ing”Werewolf” scared the Sh….t out me last night man.

We need diversity, or else how do we differentiate between what is being dictated to us and what we have a democratic right too. There is no point in sticking your head in the sand, we need to wake up to reality and realize that the world is forever changing. There are writer which come from different walks of life, some may want to base their books on factual stuff others on fictional stuff, and although their writing may not conform to a specific group of people, nevertheless, there will be an audience which will like an unconventional type of writing, and we should be aware of that.
