You do not have to be a Renaissance man to achieve success with Internet marketing, but it certainly helps.
How do I know? Because I think of myself as a Renaissance man, and I am now very successful with my Internet marketing business.
In my lifetime I have founded two successful companies which weren’t related to Internet marketing. I have been a mortgage broker. And I did these things while also being a lifetime student and teacher of Yoga. Then, after losing almost everything in the recession, I turned to Internet marketing and once again becoming a financial success.
What does Yoga have to do with Internet marketing, or any other kind of business success? And what about Internet marketing makes it a good field for a Renaissance man?
First, Yoga is related to Internet marketing or any other business because Yoga teaches us how to live. Keeping a clear mind and a healthy body is necessary to success in Internet marketing or in any other business. And Yoga gives me a perspective on Internet marketing that make my experiences with Internet marketing deeper and more satisfying to me.
A great yoga teacher once said, “At the end of the day, meditation is recognized more by the beauty of the discoveries we make than rather by the number of facts we know.” The same is true about Internet marketing, and about our lives – the discoveries we make give our lives meaning.
Being a Renaissance man is related to Yoga and to Internet marketing because being a Renaissance man means being open to learning new things. It means applying our knowledge everywhere, not just to our Internet marketing businesses. That openness enriches our lives and our Internet marketing, and allows us to find new ways to make our Internet marketing enrich our lives.
Here are 5 things you should know about Internet marketing:
1. There are many Internet marketing opportunities out there. But not all Internet marketing opportunities are legitimate. You need to be diligent to find Internet marketing opportunities that operate ethically.
2. Not every form of Yoga works best for everyone. The same it true of Internet marketing – you need to find products and services you feel passionate about in order to be a success with your Internet marketing efforts.
3. Internet marketing is not a way to get rich quickly with no effort. Yoga, Internet marketing, and life as a whole all require our consistent efforts in order to be successful.
4. Be open to possibilities. Don’t find just one thing and put all of your eggs into only one Internet marketing basket. After you have learned your way around the Internet marketing universe, be sure to look into additional Internet marketing opportunities you can use to expand on your success.
5. Find a good Internet marketing mentor or program that you trust. There is a lot of information about Internet marketing out there, but not all of it is accurate. After you’ve found Internet marketing resources you can trust, learn everything you can from them.
I was able to become a success once again through my Internet marketing business. I believe it is within everyone’s means to also become successful through Internet marketing – so much so that part of my business is about helping others with their Internet marketing efforts.
Don’t let the recession stop you. The recession is temporary, and better yet the recession hasn’t put much of a dent at all in the world of Internet marketing.
