I'll probably get some flack for writing this, but I'd rather be honest and risk being disliked by some. See there are some people out there who want you to believe that everyone can make 6 figures online. I'd like to correct that statement slightly, it should read ANYONE can make 6 figures online. Anyone not everyone. There is a big difference.
Anyone who is willing to put in the work. See you can't sit back and do nothing and expect to have massive success. That's really why 97% of people don't make a dime in the home based arena. Too many people out there think that just because you sign up with a company, and perhaps even have a website, that you're on your way to success. No, no, no, you are mistaken! It takes true, honest to goodness work. Work is something that too many people are either afraid of or don't think is important. Yes, there are systems and tools you can use to leverage your time and efforts, that's great. There is a value to working smart. But it STILL takes work. Hard work. Time on your PC. Time on the phone. Time learning & studying. Time marketing, time marketing, time marketing. Yes I said that one 3 times!
Most people out there fail online because they either do not take the time to learn, don't know how, or don't know how powerful marketing online can be. Just because you have a website doesn't mean anything. Having a website and not marketing it is like owning a gas station in the country back in the middle of the woods with no signs leading to it. No one knows its there! Properly marketing onlineis like taking that same gas station and putting it at a major exit off the busiest freeway in your area.
You really do have to put in the time marketing if you want to reach 6 figures. Here's the good news – once you get your marketing up and running, and working properly, it's basically in place, working for you. You work hard up front, in the beginning, and then once you have an over-abundance of leads...then you don't need to spend as much time on marketing. At that point you spend time tweaking and split-testing it to make it more effective, but not as much time as you did up front.
How many hours you ask? As many as it takes is my answer. Maybe it will take you 4 hours per day. Maybe 10 hours a day. It is up to you how fast you want to grow and start earning 6 figures. Owning an online business really does offer you some incredible flexibility in your schedule...that is probably part of the reason you started your business in the first place. But don't let that flexibility fool you into believing that there is no work involved. You won't be sitting in a chaise lounge on the beach sipping your favorite beverage 24/7. What you CAN DO, is sit in that chaise lounge, with your cool beverage and sunglasses on, tunes nearby, and kids running around in the sand with your laptop on your lap making your business grow. 6 figures takes action, work, perseverance, focus, and a big dream. Something that ANYONE can do, but not EVERYONE will.
