The Chinese Crested Puppy

The Chinese Crested is one of the unknown exotic dogs among dog-lovers. A small dog, the chinese crested dog is noted for having no hair. It sports a bald body, majestically featuring a leonine mane (crest) of medium-length, silky hair on the puppy's head, hocks, pasterns and tail. The "Powder Puff" puppy has smooth fur all over its body. Colors differ within the standard canine fur colors. A full-grown adult male or female dog will reach 11 to 13 inches of height. The Crested is similar in size and body-type to the Chihuahua.
