- At a mixture of some colours the perception of their saturation diminishes, the closer colours settle down in a color circle, the more diminishing will emerge.

- The contrast will be stricter in case when stricter dissimilarity in brightness and saturation is used.

For instance, against red background orange seems yellow, yellow seems more green and green seems more blue. Against the bright green background red and blue colours obtain violet tint, yellow turns nearer to orange.

There are a lot of variants of landscape design. Selection of variant depends on diverse factors such as nature of the soil, region traditions, taste and financial possibilities of the client.
