My name is L.E. Fowler. We don’t know each other but I’ll bet we have a lot in common. We both love fishing. Well, let me re-phrase that. We both love catching fish, right?
I’ll bet we’re also in the same boat when it comes to all the lures, live baits, jigs, and other gadgets we’ve tried over the years to improve our odds of hauling in an ice chest full of fish. In fact, we’ve both probably tried a boat load of gizmos that looked nice but were most often completely ignored by our underwater friends.
I’ve literally spent most of my life trying to figure out how fish think.
You may laugh at that but if fish aren’t that smart, how is it that they can resist all of these ingenious products we’ve devised to catch them? Those five pounders haven’t gotten that big without knowing the difference between an artificial lure and a legitimate lunch. Trying to figure out a way to attract these boys has been a lifelong challenge of mine but I think I’ve finally stumbled upon the secret weapon.
Lord willing I’ll be 78 years old on my next birthday. I’ve been fishing and hunting since I was a kid. I’ve also been a fishing and hunting guide for decades. I’ve helped people track everything from black bears to big bass and wild salmon. I love nature and I love the thrill of hunting and fishing. But fishing is at the very top of my list of favorite things to do.
About three years ago, I designed a little item in my old shop in the garage that has completely changed my fishing luck for the better. I’ve been tweaking this little beauty by making adjustments here and there in size, weight and rigging and I’m here to tell you without any reservation, that it is the most incredible fish catching device I’ve seen in my entire life--and I’ve seen a lot of them.
