Like every other thing in life, when you don't recognize a problem, it becomes routine for us. Blushing and social anxiety have been like this for me. I can not remember when it started and how I picked it up, but it came to a point when I had to do something about it.

I read a lot online about blushing and to my surprise, I am not alone with this social problem. There are thousands of people online who wants to learn how to stop blushing and live their life more in control.

When I look at the symptoms of blushing mainly, I can see a repetitive cause for this suffering. We seem to be unable to accept differences in every person. It is almost as if, we want to be accepted for every action we do. But life is not like this, not one human being is the same as the other one. So, wanting to act like someone else, as a solution is not correct. This makes us more unnatural.

I think, we start this problem in our childhood. Somehow, we choose a role model for ourself, who is not confident as person. As we are young and not able to judge what is right or wrong, we copy everything our role model do. For example, if this person, we look up on, tends to be nervous around new people or at social events, we then register this behaviour as how we should react. Our young mind then starts programming each event.

Can you see how we start programming or mind?

This is actually the root for not just for blushing or social anxiety, it is for any other addictions out there. For us to learn how to stop blushing, first step is to acknowledge that this problem can be cured and our mind can reprogramme itself.

So, how can we stop blushing?

First of all, this can be done on your own, all you need is simple steps that you can learn from respected authors. I have cured my blushing problem after reading and applying several techniques, I learned online which helped me stop blushing for ever.

Another small tip before you move onto your steps on stopping blushing, is picturing the social events in your mind before it happens. Visualisation like breathing correctly has many health benefits.
