Sell Your Own Photography

When it comes to making some extra dollars every month, many people have no idea where to start from, even though there are more than a few ways to do this. One method I can honestly recommend (as a matter of fact, this is how I make my living), is to sell your own photography online.

I myself started selling stock photos online quite some time ago, and I remember that I used to make about $300 -- $400 a month "working" only in weekends. Back then, I used to upload about 100 -- 150 photos every month and was very pleased with my work.

It was not until about two years ago that I started to acknowledge the true potential of this whole thing. While I was on trip to Thailand, I figured I could use that opportunity to take some interesting pictures, and make some extra money. So I started to really use my digital camera and, by the end of the trip, I had about 4000 photos stored on my memory card.

When I got back home a spent quite some time uploading them to the websites I was working with. What happened next was unbelievable! During the next two months I made a total profit of a little more than $10.000, earning about $2.5 per picture.

That's when I decided I could turn this passion into a real lifestyle. I have to admit, since then, I haven't managed to make so much during a single month, but the photos I take can easily pull in $3000 every month.

Getting $2.5 dollars for a photo may not seem that much, but imagine what you would earn if you submitted 100 a month. And you can easily take 100 photos during one or two hours, trust me! Now imagine what you could earn if you spent half an hour every day taking photos! Let's say you take 20 photos a day, 20 days a month and you sell one photo for $2.5. That means a total profit of $1000 for doing a very pleasant work.

And the best part is you don't have to be a professional to achieve this. All you really need is a digital camera and the willing to earn some nice money!
