Sarasota beaches happen to be some of the most breathtaking beaches in the nation. The white sand beaches on the gulf coast of Florida do not only offer some of the most fantastic views, they also give you a quality of life that makes Sarasota the perfect area to live for everyone who loves the outdoors. Why don't we consider just a few of the Sarasota beaches and what they can offer to you.
Nokomis Beach is situated on Casey Key and encompasses a recreation area that is 22 acres in size. It's got beaches that are both right on the Gulf and also beaches which are on the intercoastal. Nokomis Beach is a fantastic place for families to come and get pleasure from a day on the beach. Lifeguards are present along with public bathrooms and snack bar. There's also spots to put your boat in the water in case you want to fish, water ski, or simply cruise about on the Gulf.
North Jetty Park might not be the most attractive of Sarasota beaches, but whenever a storm is close by, it is among the best places that you can surf on the Gulf of Mexico. Of course, you can find features there that will make it family-friendly such as lifeguards, bathrooms and snack bars.
Another one of the exquisite Sarasota beaches is Lido Key. Lido Key is situated just over the Ringling Bridge from downtown Sarasota and is walking distance from the high-end shops and boutiques of St. Armands Circle. Not only does St. Armands Circle give you a great shopping experience, but the little town also offers a number of superb restaurants. There's nothing as good as catching an amazing sunset at Lido Key and then walking into town to eat dinner at one of the fabulous restaurants such as Tommy Bahamas or Hemingways.
Lastly, we cannot mention Sarasota beaches without mentioning Venice Beach. Venice Beach presents a variety of different activities but is perfectly suited if you happen to like scuba diving due to a reef that's in the vicinity, just offshore. It also offers great family fun and has bathrooms, pavilions and picnic tables available for a great afternoon on the Gulf.
These are merely a handful of the many Sarasota beaches. As you have seen, regardless of what you enjoy to do at the beach, Sarasota beaches offer something to do for everyone, which is why it is the perfect spot to move to and raise a family.
