Hi, today I am going to be talking about offsite versus onsite website promotion and SEO in Milton Keynes. I am already seeing great results from the first campaign and would like to share some secrets for free.
There are many different website promotion techniques sold to clients and some of these have become outdated and no longer work. There are easy onsite modifications that anyone can make to complicated mathematical driven dynamic models. The end result is what matters so long as it is not SPAM. So why does another site with poor onsite SEO outrank you? that is a question I once asked myself on a regular basis. The answer lies in your authority. Your authority can be enhanced by other authority sites, especially those with traffic, ones that have been established for some time and ones that link back to you! this is known as offsite promotion.
This is what I have used to get my sites ranking well in the search engines and it can be applied to any type of website even if the site has little or no content or unsearchable content like video or flash based sites.
So how do you get these, well you could use a website promotion company ;) or you could do it yourself. If you are doing it yourself you can type in the keyword you wish to rank four and find sites in the top ten. I would then find out which sites link to them and then try and get the same backlinks to your website. You may find articles, you may find chat forums, you may find paid for listings although the search engines are catching up on these and have started to remove their authority.
All this takes time and effort which can often be spent better eslwhere, which is the number one reason why it should be outsourced to an internet marketing company.
