President Obama is urging moms to get back in school. In order to help them out in this troubled economy, his plan of attack is issuing a new program called Scholarships for Moms.
Moms can now obtain a larger $5,500 Federal Pell Grant to begin the college journey. The additional grant money will let more single moms attend college.
Obama is also increasing other scholarships by thousands of dollars to further assist the moms in dealing with college expenses. The economy will become stronger with more moms working because in part of the $5500 Pell grant that made it possible for them to attend college, get a good degree and enter the job market. Of course, moms are arguably the busiest people on the planet, so online education is always an option. When the kids are asleep mom goes into motion as a college student. Certified classes are available at city colleges as well at full colleges and universities along with on line educational sites that specialize in degree programs.
