The misting fans and misting systems are nothing without misting nozzles. They are one of the most vital equipments that play an important role in home accessories as well as in horticulture and green house setup. The misting systems are also been used for livestock cooling, evaporate cooling, concrete curing and dampening down the atmosphere. The misting nozzles also form an important part of the open air misting fans. The misting fans are elaborately sued during the hot summer months for getting a cooling effect. It works by producing very fine mist of water and sprays into the trail of a fan. This water would fall upon whatever is put in its route thereby creating a misting effect.

One of the advantages with misting nozzles is that it can be removed or replaces if it is not in a working condition. And also they are available in wide angle ranges and various sizes. They can be operated at diverse PSI (Pounds per square) inch levels that range from 30-250. The strength of the misting nozzles can be determined by the misting or cooling effect.

Since the nozzles plays an important role in the functioning of mist line systems, it is important to keep them clean. If you clean the nozzles properly, you can avoid clogging problems. You would surely want to get the best evaporative cooling and hence it becomes necessary to pick the one which has small opening in the misting nozzle and without any leakage. A micro fine fog would be created if you force the water through this fine opening. This fine mist would gradually fade away into the atmosphere. You can obtain a non wetting fog, provided your fan has a higher end. There is a variety called the red misting nozzles that has the spray angle of 85 to 90 degrees. The coverage region of this nozzle would be round three to four square meters.

It is sometimes seen that the misting nozzles will not be necessarily needed in the industrial scenario. But it plays an important role in home misting systems. Also the nozzles are used to create a fog effect on the stage during performances etc. You may sometimes encounter certain hitches with the nozzles. This happens when you do not get the required cooling effect as the water droplets coming out would be very fine without any force. This happens when the nozzle head is clogged with dirt particles. To overcome this snag, there are nozzles that have filters to catch the minute particles and filter them. There are even double filters to ensure that water is freely forced out.

The temperature in the misting systems would normally remain low. There are finer misting nozzles used in the mist line systems for getting finer particles. The spray angle would range around 90 degrees and water output can be 3.5 liter per hour. The coverage area can be anywhere around three to four meters. These white and red nozzles are easily available in the market if you wish to replace the existing one.
