Remember when you were completing your Independent Contract with your primary company? How did you feel? What were you thinking? Did you see yourself at the top of the company's compensation plan with the highest ranked title affiliated with your name? Did you see yourself having your retirement party at your job because you had replaced that income with the income from your business? Did you see yourself walking across the stage receiving your accolades because of your production? Did you visualize yourself on the vacation with your team paid for by the company? Did you picture your first $100,000 month? Because you are a true visionary and stepped out on faith and belief that your business is going to prosper, then you've seen all these things and much more!
What has gone wrong and why have so many people that have gotten started in this industry quit before they accomplish any of these initial goals and dreams? Why would a person with such initial ambition be reduced to saying this industry doesn't work and they are just going to remain satisfied working their "good-job"? Where is the sizzle being lost? Why is the fire dying? I get this inquiry often and felt that more people needed the answer to this mystery. If you have had this question yourself and never asked then you will now have an insight.
Once you left the euphoric atmosphere of the meeting place where you were introduced to the business opportunity, you were surrounded by like-minded individuals with the same desires and goals that you had. Every objection could be easily overcome and everyone that you had in mind to talk to about your business, in your mind, has already said "yes" to opportunity just as you have. There is no sense of negativity anywhere around you and because of this your mind views only positive thoughts and reactions as you see your vision for your business. In this moment, nothing can possibly go wrong. Everyone is just as excited as you are. From the veterans to those just as new as you! You can taste your success. But, you must leave this environment and return to another.
This reality that you must now enter is the reality that we face every day. The reality where majority of the population have been subliminally programmed to believe that school, good grades, college and corporate America is the road to the American Dream. Instead of sharing the opportunity of business ownership, unlimited income potential and time-freedom, you will be battling an uphill confrontation with people that truly believe they are "satisfied with their job", "don't have time to start or build a business", "think what you're doing is a "pyramid" or "scam", not because of any knowledge, on the contrary, because of a lack of knowledge. They say these things because this is what they have heard. You'll hear things like "my brother tried that and "it" didn't work." We know it wasn't the business that didn't work but the brother. In this case, I'd advise you not to entertain that conversation.
Here's the deal, if you want to keep the fire burning outside of the business opportunity environment then you must stay around positive, like-minded individuals. How, in a society filled with negativity? Always put your opportunity in front of positive people. Every day! Now I hear you loud and clear, how are you supposed to do that after everything I just said? I'll show you everything I know and all I need you to do is follow the system revealed to you and hold tight to your dreams and watch them become your reality. It's that simple. Why didn't your upline share this system with you and have you make a list of everyone you know, even though most of them aren't interested in your opportunity? The reason is because they don't know this system. If you believe you can, then you can!
Believe in your dreams and goals because most people have already given up on theirs, therefore for them to discourage yours is easy for them. Just take a toll. Tell three of your closest family or friends that you want to start a flower shop and listen to their responses. 90% of their conversation will be negative. Not that they don't love you, it's just that you are sharing a dream to those that at one time or another have given up on their own dreams and that reality will reflect in their response to you. Don't rest in that sorrow. Stay focused on your dreams, remain dedicated and prayerful, work hard, be persistent and the dream that you are working towards will be your reality!
