Occasionally, an article will appear in newspapers giving estimates of the value of the human body when it is reduced to the chemicals of which it is composed. When I first read this kind of article back in the early sixties, the estimated value of the body was less that $5.00. The last estimate I saw several years ago put the value at about $50.00. Imagine, $50.00!
What value have you placed on yourself? What value have others placed on you, people like your employer or your family members? Do you agree with them? Do you consider your body to be all there is of you?
I must admit that I never really considered those questions seriously until my six figure, school administration job was eliminated a few years ago. The school district for which I worked tagged a value of over $100,000 on me. On what was that number based, I asked myself and was that all I was worth? If I were going to think differently about myself, how was I to arrive at a different value?
Several months after I began pondering those an related questions about my value, I received some timely assistance in the form of a magazine article. My thinking and life have never been the same since. The author of that article explained that we humans are much more that we realize, and we certainly are much more than a few well mixed chemicals. He stated that we are essentially electro magnetic entities, and each of us carries enough electricity around within his or her body to power a city of half a million people with all of its electrical needs for about a week!
By converting that power estimate into dollars, I realized immediately that my estimated value was in the hundreds of millions of dollars! Shortly thereafter, I received another boost. I read in a publication that the human brain has somewhere between 70 and 100 billion cells in it. What if someone wanted to buy one of my brain cells, how much would I charge for it? How much would you charge?
Remember, these are your cells, so you decide their value. Once you establish a value of one cell, pick a number between 70 and 100 billion and multiply that established value by that number. What is your value now? I think I can safely say your value is quite a bit different from the $50.00 I mentioned.
Do not be overly concerned with the arguments your self image will throw at you. It might tell you how foolish you are to think of your value in terms of this new dollar figure because you cannot sell all of your cells and live. Firmly inform your self image that you are now establishing and proclaiming your OWN value, then press ahead. If you persist, your self image will gradually give way to and accept your new proclamation.
Never again allow yourself to think of your value in pennies. You are worth so much more! Proclaim your value! I am not suggesting that you should shout it out to the world. Your value is your secret for now. Reveal it to no one other than yourself. The reason is obvious. Proclaim it to yourself. You are the only one you need to convince. In time those in your world will take notice and proclaim your value for you.
This I know for sure. You can claim or re-claim control of your own mind power. You are the most miraculous of all living beings on earth. You are the owner of a mind that is so stupendous, that as you truly begin mastering your mind power and consciously using it, there is no dream that you can dream that you cannot achieve.
