Are you trying to build a network marketing team? I think there are so many opportunities today that allow the average person to create the lifestyle they are looking for to break free from the mundane 9-5 job that so rarely rewards those who work hard to build someone else’s wealth. There are so many great network marketing companies who offer excellent pay plans and terrific bonuses for leaders in the company.
The fact is that 70% of network marketers fail. Why is this? Is it the company? Generally no. When 9 out 10 people join a network marketing company, they are under the false pretense that it will be easy. They get so exited and so hyped up at the mere idea of financial freedom but the problem most of the new network marketers have no idea how to build a business, especially in network marketing.
Network marketing is really a simple business. Usually all of the tools are handed to you while also providing the products and websites for their members which is so much better than having to do it all yourself. Marketing research is another facet that is already taken care of. The only responsibility that we network marketers really have is letting everyone we know that we are in business and getting as much exposure as possible.
Most companies suggest that their new members make a list of 100 people that they know and start calling them. There are great memory joggers available to help new members brainstorm and create there list of people they come in contact with on a daily basis that they my not have considered which is a great idea.
The reality is that most new network marketers don’t follow through with this. They get frozen and intimidated at the very thought of talking to people about their new business. Why is this? Because most of them have never owned a business and have never been in sales but they want to break free from their reality and create a new one.
How can we help help our new members be successful and create the income and lifestyle they desire? The simpler that we make it for new network markers, the better it will be for the company, the team, our personal business, and the new network marketer. Keeping it simple is the best policy. When a new member of our team joins us if we our the type of person who is always in front of the room giving the presentations, they might that in order for them to be successful that they will have to do that too. While it’s good to develop these skills, we need to show our new members the simplicity of the business and help them get off to a good start before they get discouraged.
It is vital that they see themselves being able to do the business and succeeding at it themselves or they will not take action. So what do I mean by keeping it simple? Here is an approach I like. Tell your new member to get 5-10 of his/her friends to take a look at his new business. Let your new member know not to give all the details. Just let them know that there is something you really want them to see. Then if your company provides a presentation dvd, pop it in the dvd palyer and let everyone sit and watch it. Anyone can do this.
Network Marketing is really a numbers game, so the more people that see it the more successful anyone will have in this business. Once people join your new members team, don’t leave them to fend for themselves. go with your new member to speak to their closest friends and so on and so on. Keeping it simple in the beginning for your new members is really key. Once they get the hang of it and become more confident, you will start to see more duplication in your business. We all know without duplication in this type of business, we will not have a successful business.
I hope this was helpful to some of you and I wish you much success!
