Ask any long-term WoW player how to make gold and they'll point you at several great grinding locations. They expect you to spend hours and hours slaughtering monsters in one spot that need you to be at least level sixty to even get near these beasts.
This should tell you that most players have no idea how to make fast gold in the World of Warcraft game.
Here is the easiest way to get all the gold you'll ever need quickly even using a level one character.
Step One:
No matter what level or what class your main character is, make a new character that is awfully close to a major town Auction House. If you are playing Alliance, try creating a dwarf of gnome and run to Ironforge. You could try making a night-elf and running to Darnassus, but you could have more luck selling from the bigger Auction Houses. If you are playing Horde, create a troll or tauren and run to Orgrimmar.
Step Two:
Find the closest Auction House and figure out where the closest mail box is in comparison. Park your low level character near the Auction House.
Step Three:
Download the free version of WoW Auctioneer and use it to your benefit. Each server has different costs for different items. Your target is to figure out using your Auctioneer add-on what's been severely underpriced.
Step Four:
Find as many badly priced items as you can. WoW players think they're being smart by undercutting other players attempting to sell items. In reality, all they are doing is reducing their own gold-earning ability and inflating yours.
Usually the higher priced items, like netherweave fabric or craggy leather are quickest to spot, but you can also find particular cuts of gems and rare jewel-crafting stones are often under-priced as well.
Step Five:
Purchase any keenly priced items on your server. Run to the nearest mailbox and grab the things you've purchased. Then run back to the sale House and put those self same items back up on sale at their correct costs. You will find that gems and potions sell extremely quickly, as do most materials, fabrics and leathers - even after you've listed them for sale at a rewarding price.
Step Six:
Use your principal personality to level up, complete quests and explore the Warcraft arena of Azeroth, but keep your low-level 'alt' character near the Auction House at all times. When your main character loots anything decent, mail it instantly to your low-level character to put up for sale on the sale House for you.
Step Seven:
Once you've sold your profit items and your loot items, mail the gold back to your main character.
Step Eight:
Enjoy having more gold than any other personality around you!
If you remember to log into your arena of Warcraft account as your low-level character first and spend two minutes checking out items you could probably buy cheap and then re-sell at a profit, then you can switch over to your most important personality and continue to enjoy the game. You'll always have plenty of gold and takes minimal time out of your game play.
