Here is a list of the Top 5 things to consider when choosing which MLM
Opportunities are right for you.
1. Longevity - How long has the company been in business? Now days it seems like
a new Network Marketing company is sprouting up on a daily basis. The sad
part is that the majority disappear faster than they started. So longevity of
at least 3 to 4 years is a must when considering a particular MLM
opportunity.
2. What is your startup cost? - How much is it going to cost for you to get
started with that particular company? Not only how much does it cost to join
but how much does it cost to maintain? Almost every MLM Opportunity requires
some monthly autoship of the companies product. They typically have different
levels that one can sign up for. Those who choose the highest
monthly autoship will be eligible for the highest compensation plan provided
by the company.
3. Is it affordable for your inner circle? - Even if you find that the start up
and monthly cost is reasonable for you it may not be reasonable for your
circle of influence or your community. This is extremely important when
choosing what opportunity to go with. Network Marketing is not about you per
say, it is about everyone else around you. And if they are all financially
strapped, even if it sounds like an amazing company it just might be out of
reach for those around you. The cost just may stop them from taking the
plunge.
4. Compensation Plan - Once you've determined that the company is solid and does
not appear to be going anywhere anytime soon and you've found the pricing to
be reasonable, the next thing to consider is "How do I get paid?"
**** Here is a short check list to consider ****
-How many legs do I have to build?
-If more than 2 then what legs do I get paid on?
-What are the requirements for rank advancement
-Who are the leaders and how do I get hooked up with them? (very Important)
-What is the companies marketing system?
-Am I allowed to market using the Internet? (If not, avoid that company)
-If I can market online what kind of online marketing material is provided?
-What kind of training whether for online marketing or traditional do I get?
-And whatever else one can think of...
5. What is their Product Line? - You may be surprised that I have this listed as
the last thing to consider when choosing which MLM opportunities are right for
you. So let me be very frank and even a little blunt to get this point across.
Very few people care about the actual product of a particular company. Eveyone
may talk as if it is amazing and it cured their illnesses over night. But
the reality is that most people would stop (and do stop) taking it the minute
they realize they are not making any money.
So let me be clear... It is not about the product. It is about can you or they
make money while presenting the product. It is about 1-4 on the list long before
it is about the product.
I've heard it said that "Nobody who bought a drill actually wanted a drill.
They wanted a hole. Therefore if you want to go out and sell drills you
should advertise information about making holes, not about selling drills." So
what does that mean? Simply put no one is going to care about your MLM
Opportunity or your product unless you can help them see how it will "Help Them
drill a hole" first.
So when you are exploring and searching out which MLM Opportunities are right
for you, first make sure they have been around for at least 3-4years. Second
what is the cost to get started. Third is it affordable for you and your inner
circle. Fourth how do you get paid. And fifth what is the product that they
offer.
