Love with Larry is reaching a stagnant mode. We have been together for 6 years only, and we are bored.
With St. Valentine’s just a mere short weeks to go, I am taking action to recover my relationship and make it work like it did in the beginning. I know that if I don’t do something, we will never get past the boredom we live through with each other notwithstanding the love and respect we feel for us still.
So, I began by working on a plan on a piece of paper for Valentine’s Day.
I make full use of my days at the office by searching the net for inspiration and I have found what I want.
Firstly, I decided wanted to present Gary with a special gift – lingerie. I have little time, between office duties and house work to hit the town shops, even on weekends. So, I did a search on the web for a few online stores which sold lingerie. I was not expecting much but www.topsecretshop.co.uk has what I need. This shop features a great line of corsets, basques, bras, panties, stockings, baby dolls, sexy play wear, seductive nightwear and bridal wear. And I have saved me an incredible amount of time. I selected 2 pieces of sexy lingerie and placed the order. Delivery was surprisingly swift, and I am overjoyed with my selections.
Now, on to step two of my plan. We moved in together recently and because this apartment is rather minute, together we made the decision to throw away old stuff we both had in our previous separate homes. So, we didn’t even have a stereo. We don’t even have any CD’s. But how else can I set the tone for the evening if there is no romantic, jazzy sound playing in the stereo.
Again, I went to the online shops and pulled my credit card out. After a few moments looking over different costs between different brand stereos on sale, I set my sight on a JVC stereo and made the order. Great customer service was very welcome and the order has already arrived too. I have it hiding in the cupboard.
Part 2 of step 2 is the music. There are tons of sites offering music downloads. Beats going downtown to a megastore where I have to buy a whole CD. On Music Blog, I checked out the recommendations of the best music available. I found Ares, opened an account and have been joyfully downloading some great tunes almost on a daily basis. Its great fun. I’m finding songs I had not heard since I was in school and I am loving it.
So, now the stage is almost set. On Valentine’s Day, I will visit the local shop to purchase a bottle of Port wine. I’ll return home, have a warm bath and put on my new lingerie. All will be in place by the time Manuel returns back. Manuel fall on his knees. At least, that is how the plan is playing in my head.
Something has to be done. If our relationship doesn’t get a revamp, we won’t make it. I can’t let that happen. Besides, no matter how long you spend with someone, you have to keep the flame burning. And that means, we have to work on it until the last moment.
