Our own 'need to belong'

Each and every one of us has a 'need' to belong. This is the reason to which we thrive to 'belong' to certain society niches and groups.

In order to start getting lots of leads, the first step to do is to join a social network, such as Facebook and LinkedIn. This will make it easy for others to find you online.

After that, you should join groups within the social network you choose, such as 'work from home' and 'money making' groups.

How to use psychological triggers to effectively get lots of leads

Here come psychological triggers. Using what I like to call a 'virtual handshake', you get connected to other members of the groups you've joined.

Let’s pretend Joe is in the same ‘work from home’ group I’m in. I'm going to virtually shake hands with joe by sending him this message:


“Hi Joe, I see you’re in the same ‘work from home’ group I’m in. We havn’t connected yet so I thought I should say hi.

I love meeting others through social networking, I’ve learned so much from others, especially Norbert’s training on how to get 100 leads per day. What did you think of it? Personally I’m really glad he posted a replay at (here you mention your website URL)

Did you notice the two psychological triggers I’ve used here?

I mentioned Norbert’s training and ‘assumed’ Joe already knew about Norbert’s training. Then I’ve put psychological pressure on Joe, asking him for his opinion about it. This will make him extra curious to check out what he’s missing.

In order not to feel left out, Joe will most probably visit the site I mentioned in the message I sent him, to satisfy his ‘need to belong’.

Using this technique, one can start generating leads by the hour. I recommend jump-starting lead generation by doing about 100 virtual handshakes of this sort per day. The results you'll get will leave you totally amazed!

In order to have a successful start, be sure you have a lead capture page in place. This will enable you to make money from all prospects who won't join your primary business. Setting up your system would provide you with about 15 new income streams which will provide you with extra cashflow.
