As I've mentioned before, my client feedback is instrumental in continuing to develop programs and educate people about health conditions. Something a client told me recently triggered a search for a new connection between two chronic problems. She told me that as she found great success with the Stop Snoring program, she also noticed her Irritable Bowel Syndrome was no longer bothering her. Stress and anxiety have traditionally been the expected root of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). However, certain foods can trigger the constipation, severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, and changes in bowel function and feces color. This combination of symptoms are what is referred to as IBS. It is not unexpected that my Stop Snoring program would be effective on conditions caused or worsened by stress, since the programs have breathing and relaxation exercises. But this still leaves me wondering about the potential link between IBS and sleep disorders like sleep apnea. A large number of individual who suffer from IBS also report sleep disorders such as snoring and sleep apnea. Women seem either especially prone to such problems or at least are more apt to seek treatment. In fact, over half of the people who have IBS reported sleeping disorders. A number of people reported that they either simply could not rest well through the night due to their IBS and some even stated that they are suddenly awakened in the night which also creates sleep deprivation issues. However, research indicates that the poor sleep patterns are causing the IBS symptoms to occur, not the IBS causing sleep issues. A recent sleep study of IBS patients and control patients was performed. There were no reported differences in the amount time devoted to sleep or REM cycles. This research did however reveal that for those suffering from sleep interruptions during REM state, morning IBS symptoms were present. Researchers concluded that the absence of proper oxygen and deep rest lead to IBS and a variety of other debilitating conditions. Like the client mentioned earlier in this article, it is very likely that my Stop Snoring program will benefit you if both IBS and sleep apnea are standing in the way of your good health. See the results right away for these conditions that are most likely linked.
