Am I the only one aware of the revolutionary changes that online video is having on search engine results? Because of the proliferation of video submission software, a properly optimized video can not only be indexed by the major search engines within hours, but the multiple submissions can be listed on Google Page 1. SEO experts talk about the importance of having your web site listed on Page1; but a internet site is only listed One Time; a video can be listed 2-4-6, or even more times. Domination of Page 1 is no longer that difficult. I have done it numerous times.
For the previous hundred years, there have been three main methods for promoting your business; business cards, newspaper, or print advertising, and the phone book. While some may consider that the phone book qualifies as 'print advertising', I separate it because of the major difference in its function. Typical print advertising, such as newspapers, magazines, flyers, coupons, etc, are common, "Interruption Marketing" techniques, displayed to the masses, regardless of need or interest. But the phone book is a reference; usually the first place someone looks when THEY have a need for a product, or service. And that is the "Holy Grail" of advertising; to have YOUR ad in front of the client when THEY have the need.
You don't have exclusive rights to newspaper advertising; in fact, your ad is in all probability run on the same page as a half-dozen of your competitors. Look at the phone book; your ad is crammed on a page with a dozen other ads, and, depending on how much money was spent, some of those ads are probably larger than yours. Your chance of being contacted are diminished.
But the Internet is where a company can really get lost. Forget about your website being found; it's just one of BILLIONS of other websites. How are you marketing your business on the Internet? More and more individuals are doing searches on the computer for products and services. Are you making it easy for them to find you on the Internet? For most companies, the response is NO!
A odd pattern has emerged when it comes to promoting a website. With the first three examples, there is a simple, direct link between the customer, the advertising method, and your business. You give someone a business card; they can call you. Someone sees you ad in the paper, they call you; they see your listing in the phone book, they call you. But how does a customer find you sitting at a computer, typing into a search engine? The answer: THEY CAN'T!
In most cases, for the customer to find you on the Internet, he first has to go through one of the first three methods; few customers find a company through an Internet listing alone. Companies put their website on their business cards, in their newspaper ads, and at the bottom of their phone book listing.
But what if I could show you how to point customers to your business through online video. In fact, I can show you how to DOMINATE Google Page1 ...and SHUT OUT competition.
Creating and submitting a short, online video, can place you on Google Page 1, faster than any other form of web marketing. Not only that, but a strategy of submitting several, slightly different videos, could allow you to DOMINATE Google Page 1, in other words, be the ONLY BUSINESS LISTED! Do you think prospects would be more likely to click on one of your links?
