I am amazed by the number of people who are trying to build a business in network marketing who have never bothered to evaluate the company that they are working with, or never bothered to take the time to even figure out what it is they should be looking for.
This is easy to understand if you consider that nearly all people who get involvied in network marketing do so because of their warm market. Some they already know, be it their brother or sister or friend, introduced them to the opportunity and not much more consideration was given to it beyond that.
Long ago when we had to do our marketing without the internet, you know, like back in the '90s –seems like yesterday — someone would present you with a money-making opportunity and a lot of the time, that was the only one you even knew existed. Until someone else came along and showed you a different one.
Now everyone just gets on Google and begins looking for the good and bad about your newly presented "greatest opportunity ever". This can be good and bad, but it certainly has changed the game a bit. It is now way more easy, assuming you know what you are looking for, to adequately do your research about a particular company. But if you opportunity is not legitimately competitive it makes it far harder to hang on to people.
Sometimes a great, helpful product is enought to get certain people to stick forever.
You know, they guy had arthritis so bad that he couldn’t even walk and then he started drinking “Super-Berry Juice” and his arthritis cleared up totally within 6 months and now he can play tennis again.
I love stories like that. I'd expect such a person to stay right where they are. They aren't in it for the money anyway. That is an intention to help more so than and intention to create wealth.
It might even be one of the worst comp plans in existence. This wouldn't matter because the intention is mainly to help. I would comment such people for their integrity. Yeah, it will be harder to create profit that way, but that's OK.
That is not the case for most of us though. Nearly all of us ARE in it for the money. If I already had an endless supply of cash I would just get up in the morning and start playing guitar and not stop until I fell asleep on top of the thing late at night. Sure, there are probably folks who would disagree but I am convinced that hardly anyone would be marketing just for fun if there we no need whatsoever for income.
Well, this is fine too.
Many network marketers, once they understand some things to look for when evaluating an MLM opportunity, find that they are no as satisfied with their opportunity as they once thought.
I want to touch on just one of the important points here.
This point is related to doubling your income and your signup for your MLM business, without doubling the amount of work that you are doing. In particluar I'm talking about commission percentages.
Some companies pay out only 20% to 30% of their revenue in commissions. And you can easily find lower percentages depending on whether you hit your qualifying sales volume and all that. Just overall.
Really, if you are with a company that pays out around 50% of their revenue in commissions that would be considered pretty competitive. It could be very hard for a company to make the product, store it, etc. and still pay out more than 50% commisssion.
You will find that it is generally the companies with information products which pay out higher percentages.
A commission payout of about 75% of total revenue was given by iLearning Global until they stopped the network marketing side of their business. Same for TVI Express and Diamond Rewards, Pyxism, Diamond Holiday, etc. I’m not endorsing these companies. I’m just pointing out some examples.
Here is how you double your signups, buy examining this percentage of payouts.
It takes about the same about of work to generate a lead regardless of which MLM company you are working with.
You can make next to nothing in some companies due to your downline not meeting their production quotas or simply falling off.
Retention is important but not a subject for this article.
A simple switch from a 25% total payout to a 50% total payout opportunity would effectively double your income, all other parameters held constant. If you look at this with honest eyes and figure out what would happen if your commission doubled for the same amount of sales volume it then gets quite clear what to do.
There are only a couple companies that I know of that pay out 100%, or nearly 100%.
One is called Infinity Downline.
Infinity Downline is an affiliate program based on a monthly membership of $25, and each person you enroll results in a $25 per month residual income for you.
This seems unlikely upon first review as one must ask, “Where is the company making money?”. They have other means of creating profit such as offering different marketing tools and services. But the commission payout for Infinity Downline 100%.
Enroll another member and you earn a $25 per mo residual income.
In another post I cover the details of the pay plan.
But here you have 100% payouts.
After 12 years in network marketing I don’t think I’ve ever seen a company that paid out 100% until I came across this one. I know of only one other, and it is run by the same folks.
So, if your current company is paying out 50% or less you can theoretically double your income with the same amount of work by incorporating Infinity Downline.
To really get the most out of your Infinity Downline business, or any other business, be sure to see the resource box and follow the links.
