Thanks for checking out my independent assessment of the Trump Network business opportunity. I say independent because I am in no way associated with the Trump Network. I have to say that I was surprised when I first heard that Donald Trump was entering the network marketing industry. No doubt that his entry has, and will continue to, generate plenty of buzz as well as cause people to take a second look at the MLMindustry. Indeed, Donald Trump is not the first or the only financial titan to endorse network marketing. Billionaires Warren Buffet and Richard Branson, along with multi-millionaire Robert Kiyosaki have also entered the network marketing industry in a variety of ways. The association with Donald Trump is a decided advantage for this opportunity, but does this opportunity have what it takes to stand on its own without the Trump name?
The Trump Network is not exactly the brain child of Donald Trump.. Donald Trump bought Ideal Health in August 2009 and brought it into the Trump empire. Ideal Health was founded in Porstmouth, New Hampshire in 1997. Similar to most multi-level marketing companies around these days, the principal focus of the Trump Network is nutrition. The flagship product is the Custom Essentials line of nutritional supplements, which are based on the results of the revolutionary PrivaTest. The PrivaTest is a home testing kit that supposedly tells you exactly which nutritional supplements your body needs, so that you can customize the Custom Essentials package to deliver the nutrition that you require. The other two major products are a weight-loss system called Silhouette Solution and a line of dissolvable natural energy stimulants called QuikStik.
In addition to the major product lines, there is a line of cosmetics called Bioce Cosmeceuticals and a line of snacks for children called Snazzle Snaxxs. But the focal points of the company are nutritional supplements, weight loss products and energy drinks. All three are profitable niche markets. The products are all said to be high quality. And the PrivaTest/Custom Essentials line offers a Unique Selling Proposition that differentiates it from most other MLM/Network Marketing companies. The product line appears to be a winner, but how does the income opportunity stack up?
The business opportunity is exceptional as well. I find the compensation plan to be like many others in the industry. If you enter the business with the starter package, you receive a fast start bonus for every new person you enroll into the network. If you bring in five members, you bonuses will equal the price of your starter package. However, statistics show that the average networker only sponsors 2.7 people in their entire lifetime, so personally bringing in five people may be hard for some. But if you're hard working and willing to learn how to market effectively, bringing in five and more is definitely doable.
It goes without saying the Trump name is a definite plus for any business. There are Trump Network commercials featuring Donald Trump on the radio everyday. However, the Donald will not be building your business for you. You will not experience any success unless you can retail the product and recruit new members. You will need to market the business yourself. While you're at it, you should also market and brand yourself. You will need to distinguish yourself from your competition, by positioning yourself so that when people look to join The Trump Network or purchase the product, they will look to do business with you. Remember, people don't join a company, they join you.
The Trump Network is a solid company with great products and an excellent business opportunity. But how well it will work for you will depend entirely on you, your ability and your efforts. It will definitely work for you if you consistently work hard, market effectively and don't quit.
