MLM Mom Working myself into a dither every day while my kids ran amuck.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think we've all started out this way. We need extra money. Someone shows us an MLM. We're hooked in and then we try to get everyone we know to a meeting...they don't come...it's painful...and suddenly after 5 tries they won't talk to us anymore. Sadly, we know exactly why, and how annoyed we would be if someone did the same thing to us.
Not everyone is into the idea of having their own business. (Even though it's GREAT for getting a good tax return.) And really, who are we to try to talk them into it.
Yes, maybe they don't know what they're saying "No" to. But the fact is, they're saying "no" and we need to move on to bigger fish tanks.
I prefer the internet. It's a vast lake of billions of fish searching for just what I have to offer, and anyone can take part of it.
Not to say that every mlm mom who puts their business online will have instant success. Nope, we don't have time to do it fast enough. But it's certainly easier to sift and sort through a few thousand every month on auto-pilot than it is to sift manually through 5 or 10 of the same people we "bothered" last month.
Network marketing doesn't have the bad reputation that it use to. People are marketing more honestly than they use to back in the days when you were told that if they ask if it's Amway you say "no" even though it IS Amway. *wink*
(No. I'm not marketing Amway. And that's the truth.)
The day has come when we are finally making it OUR business to have our business be ours.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That is to say, we market ourselves instead of shouting the name of our company from the rooftops.
I know that sounds like a novel idea, but it's proven to be so effective that people (like you and me) who couldn't seem to make a dime or two bugging our friends about "this business" have finally built whole profitable teams using the internet to sift and sort.
Budget was a problem.
---------------------
At first I couldn't afford to pay for all of the tools that the gurus were telling me to buy to make it online. So I started cheap.
In fact, I heard Giant Success Guru Mike Dillard say that he did the same thing that I did, and that you should do if you can't afford the cost of the big guns:
Write articles like this one, and put them out there online.
Mike Dillard himself said that he would sit on his bedroom floor at night after work and just write up his articles on paper to prepare them for putting online.
You can do it. It's great for MLM moms and dads alike!
Enjoy your success!
