RSS aggregation is not a really new technology; in fact it has been around for a few years now. If you’re not familiar with what RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is there are several ways to find out. So now that you have a good understanding of what RSS is I want to talk about why you should be leveraging these feeds to build your business, Traffic as well as your audience.
Really Simple Syndication has allowed me to speak to the world from my home office more efficiently. I no longer have to take out ads in the local papers in every major city, I no longer have to pass out flyers or even set up booths at events to try and collect information from my consumer base.
Just these marketing techniques that I have mentioned used to cost me thousands per month, with very little return on my investment. Simply put I was spending massive amounts of my capital on advertising alone with very little results. It was not good! I like many ventured into the online arena and quickly found that the old marketing techniques of the 90’s no longer worked for me or my business. It was time for a new strategy!
