Article marketing is a fantastic way to promote your products. But, you need to do it the right way. Anybody can put together an article and submit it to article directories. But, if you want to be effective with your article marketing there are a few things you need to follow.

In this article I want to talk about how you can use article marketing to its full potential. Not only do I want to show you the secrets I use, but the secrets that are actually working for me.

1. Unique and Original Content

When it comes to article marketing you want to make sure that your articles are unique and original. You do not want to fall into the trap of using rewritten PLR articles and things of that nature. That just simply equals junk content. Going with this method may bring some results at first, but in the long run it will not bear any fruit. So, you want to put your efforts into things that will keep bringing you traffic over the long haul.

So, that is why it is so important that you use unique and original content. I'm not saying that you should not use ghostwriters and things of that nature, but you want to make sure that it is unique and original. I personally do most of my article writing myself. If I am going to hire it out I hire it out locally. That way I have control over what is written. And have personal contact with the writers.

2. Give Away Good Content

You want to make sure that your articles are giving away good content. You do not want the reader to think that you have nothing to offer. But, you need to find that fine line between giving good content and not giving away the farm.

You do not want to give away all your secrets in your articles, but you do want to make sure that you are satisfying the reader.

3. Kick Butt Resource Box

When it comes to promoting your products using article marketing you want to make sure that your resource box is awesome. This is what is going to drive people to website. If you do not pay attention and concentrate on your resource box you will not get the type of traffic that you want and deserve. So, make sure that you put some time into writing a good resource box.
