How to Decrease your Recovery Time For CFS
Upon being diagnosed in 1985 with chronic fatigue syndrome at age of fifteen I never believed that this extreme tiredness I felt would be with me for the rest of my life. A couple of years later I read a book on the subconsious. It was then that I was introduced to the workings of the mind. Visualization was a starting point to see myself as a healthy person which I will talk about further into the article, but first I want to answer the question: How long will it take to recover from chronic fatigue.
Recovery time for chronic fatigue syndrome is hard to predict. It depends on a lot of different variables, from the severity of the condition, and the duration you’ve been living with cfs. But what it really comes down to is hwo strongly do you believe that you’ll get healthy and are you doing what you know you need to do every day.
You can begin today creating a healthier you. Find a quiet place in your house and take a few minutes, close your eyes, connect with your breath, and start to pay attention to how you feel today. I want you then to write down all the things that are going good in your life and your health. It might be just being grateful that you got out of bed this morning to read this article. Then carry it around with you today to remind yourself to only focus on the good in your life, and this will help you to change your vibration. Because I know when I am tired, I feel like I need to lye down, that is exactly what happens, I rest in bed most of the day, but when I started to think, I am strong, I am healthy, I have all the energy I need, that is exactly how I feel. So focus on your good thoughts and begin today attracting good health and energy your way.
Once you have gotten yourself into a better and healthier vibration you’ll start to feel yourself being healthier and stronger. Now I want you to write down the description of the healthy person you want to become like a person with more energy and better health. Then I want you to take 5 minutes and find a quiet space, close your eyes, connect with your breath, and begin to visualize yourself as healthy, and if you have a hard time with that you have the words that you wrote on the paper, happy and healthy to help you. Most importantly you need to relax and have fun with it. The whole principle behind visualization is that anything that you hold in your mind’s eye and believe to be true will eventually manifest in your life. So what you want to do is to see the kind of person whom you want to be like, having lots of energy doing all the things you enjoy doing and if you hold onto that image eventually that’s what you’ll become.
Practicing daily this one simple visualization technique has helped my recovery time and I’m more able to do more things because of it. Give it a honest try and for more information you can read my book, “12 Things You Can Do to Gain Energy and Be Healthy,” where I go into more detail on how and why you need to strengthen your faith in being healthy and if you follow the steps that I outlined in my book I guarante that you’ll start feeling healthier and more alive right away. All the best in your healing journey and remember, Everyday and everyway I am getting healthy and I am strong.
