Basically there really is no "one size fits all" "ideal workout time set in stone for everybody. Some people gain a lot of muscle mass by training 1 day a week, while others need to put in more workouts than that. The bottom line is that you really need to find out what works well for you by implementing a well structured approach to your body building workouts. The duration of your bodybuilder workout should be a constantly moving target just like all of the variables of your bodybuilding workouts.
