Step One: When you are printing anything that doesn't need to be top quality, (so even internal memos, notes and minutes from meetings etc.) change the settings in your printer dialogue box before you hit 'OK'. Also, most printing suppliers will provide you with information, and often free postage, to help you recycle your inkjet cartridges.


Refilling


Ink cartridges can be expensive, so make sure you save your old cartridges and take them to your nearest ink cartridge refiller instead of buying a new one. This can save you a massive amount of money in the long run. You can even refill ink cartridges and toner cartridges yourself with special kits available online. (Top Tip: Wear gloves!)
